LIQUID DROP GROOVE × AFTER LIFE

Based in Brussels, Belgium, two artists who continue to redefine contemporary techno from different perspectives make their return to Japan.
Phara builds his sound through a hardware-focused approach rooted in the feedback loop between physical club experience and production. In his live set, stripped-back rhythms and sustained low frequencies generate a taut tension on the floor, reinterpreting the structures of classic techno in real time.
Border One seamlessly connects modular synthesis–driven sonic exploration with a precise functionality tailored for the dance floor. His carefully layered DJ sets unfold without disrupting flow, subtly transforming the perception of time and energy.

On the 2F, Phara and Border One are joined by Mari Sakurai. Drawing from her touring experience across Europe and Asia, she bridges the tense aesthetics shared by Liquid Drop Groove and AFTER LIFE, anchoring the identity of this floor.

The 1F features Loe, YUTA, and Shinsuke Goto.
Based in Osaka, Loe weaves floors with a distinctive sensibility of his own. YUTA expands both auditory and physical perception by blending techno with tribal, acid, and trance-inflected elements. Shinsuke Goto, founder of AFTER LIFE, shapes the flow from his own philosophical standpoint, guiding the narrative of the floor.

On the 4F, LØST, savezearth, and MUNEMASA—co-creators of the open-air rave FLIGHT—take charge.
LØST draws on experiences from party cultures around the world, crafting a unique worldview that moves fluidly across genres. savezearth explores unity between mind, body, and floor through trippy, evolving grooves. MUNEMASA weaves sound in dialogue with space itself, gradually leading listeners into deeper immersion.
Their open-air–honed sensibilities and improvisational approaches converge to create a more introspective floor where the sense of time gently dissolves.

Sound is handled by Satoru Yamada, who brings out the distinct character of each floor, sculpting a multidimensional relationship between sound and space.

Within the closed environment of the club, different scenes, perspectives, and bodily sensations intersect—revealing the current point of convergence between Liquid Drop Groove × AFTER LIFE over the course of one night.
