A New Chapter for Shibuya’s Club Culture: A.S.F. Takes Over Womb

Born in 2021 at Mitsuki, Alien Sex Friends has been at the forefront of Shibuya’s evolving club scene. For over three and a half years, this party has brought together club dancers and music lovers in an intimate setting—one floor, a stripped-down DJ booth, and a relentless commitment to high-quality, mind-bending experiences. Now, in 2025, A.S.F. is set to expand its vision, launching a new club event at WOMB, the largest venue in its home territory.

The main floor will be helmed by P-yan and Ryokei, the resident DJs of A.S.F. Both have been shaping Tokyo’s underground for over 15 years, with Ryokei making his mark in Berlin before reconnecting with P-yan. Throughout Alien Sex Friends’ history, they have shared decks with local legends and internationally recognized DJs like DJ Masda, Mr. Ho, Kino, and Unai Trotti, forging strong ties with key figures in the global underground scene.

Both artists have been actively gigging across Asia, and in 2023, they launched their label A.S.F.RECS, debuting with a 100-copy limited vinyl release featuring Takashi Himeoka and A.S.F.

Joining them is Yamarchy, director of Mitsuki and a DJ known for traversing the country with his sound. A pivotal figure in Japan’s club culture, he has frequently collaborated with A.S.F., including a standout B2B with P-yan at Rainbow Disco Club 15 Years Korea in 2024. His ability to blend minimal house and techno with Balearic, psychedelic, and disco-driven hedonism will make for a truly dynamic floor.

The sound design of this floor is entrusted to Ryosuke Tsuchiya, a core figure in A.S.F. since its inception. He has also shaped the sonic landscapes of rural, Mutek.JP, and Thailand’s Wonderfruit Festival. For visual direction, Realrockdesign, known for its work with Rainbow Disco Club and Tokyo’s key underground parties, will bring their expertise in spatial design.

On the fourth floor, RICE, one of Nagoya’s most revered underground parties and labels, takes over. Expect a deep and stripped-down sonic journey led by G, Rice’s founder and an expert in minimal and deep dance music. Joining him is Goemon, a producer whose work on RICE has garnered a dedicated following, and who continues to push forward with live performances.

Also on this floor is Nehan, a Tokyo nightlife mainstay for over 15 years, known for his involvement in Nuts at Koenji’s Grassroots and Artemis at Daikanyama Unit. His connection with the A.S.F. crew runs deep, promising a night of immersive, hypnotic house grooves.

The first floor is curated by Occa, a DJ based in Sapporo who has been making waves across Europe and Asia. His Telepath party at WOMB is known for pushing the boundaries of techno, consistently booking forward-thinking international and domestic artists. P-yan and Ryokei have previously played at Telepath under his invitation, making this connection all the more special.

Joining him is Akiram En, a DJ whose sound blurs the lines between leftfield, abstract, and chaotic techno. Compared to the other floors, this space will be darker, more aggressive, and deeply twisted—a sonic playground for those craving intensity.

Further elevating the floor is a B2B set from Imus and Kyomi, two artists who have been expanding their reach beyond Tokyo’s deepest underground scenes. Their genre-defying, experimental selections promise a mind-warping trip—an opening act that sets the tone for the night’s madness.
