elepath, which launched at Womb in 2024 to mark a new era in the saturated music scene, is set to hold its second event on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Following the format introduced during the inaugural event, the three floors of Womb will each have their own curators, ensuring that every floor operates independently with its own unique concept, free from excessive interference.
The 2F “Shaman’s Floor” will feature the French live unit Hysteria Temple Foundation as the headliner. Known for their shamanic hardcore performances that captivate audiences, they promise to guide listeners into an unprecedented sensory zone. Joining them are Kyomi, a key figure in Tokyo’s deep and alternative music scene, and Occa, the mastermind behind Telepath. Sound design on the floor will once again be overseen by Satoru Yamada, who created high-resolution soundscapes at the inaugural event. Additionally, new visual elements will be introduced, courtesy of Manami Sakamoto, an internationally active visual artist.
On the 4F “Delivery A.S.F Floor,” Alien Sex Friends, the team behind the bi-monthly event at Mitsuki, will curate the lineup. Kabuto, a globally recognized DJ and organizer of Daze of Phaze and Lair, will take the stage, alongside P-Yan and Ryokei, the resident DJs of Alien Sex Friends. Their combined expertise promises an exceptional musical journey.
The 1F “Samsara Phalanx Floor” will be curated by Samsara, a rising techno party in Tokyo’s next-generation scene. The lineup includes Iori, founder of the Visionary label, known for his diverse and rich musical expression; Noco, organizer of the outdoor party Paramount, who focuses on trance-driven dance music; and Iron, a Samsara resident DJ. Ryosuke Tsuchiya, a highly trusted sound designer in both domestic and international venues, will oversee the sound design for the floor. Adding another sensory dimension, scent artist Cokyu will enhance the atmosphere with carefully crafted fragrances.
